Mick Jagger e i suoi Stones hanno condiviso il video di Hate To See You Go, il primo singolo dal loro ultimo Lp Blue & Lonesome, in uscita prevista per il prossimo 2 dicembre.
L’album è il primo in studio in 11 anni dopo A Bigger Bang del 2005, e conterrà una selezione di 12 brani della vecchia scuola blues reinterpretati in chiave Stones, fra cui capolavori di artisti come Howlin’ Wolf o Jimmy Reed. Un primo estratto dall’album era già stato condiviso con il lyric video di Just Your Fool – brano originariamente interpretato da Buddy Johnson, mentre Hate To See You Go è una canzone scritta dalla leggenda dell’armonica a bocca Little Walter.
Alla lavorazione del disco ha partecipato anche un’altra pietra miliare del rock & roll, ovvero Eric Clapton, mentre l’album, già in pre-order sul sito ufficiale degli Stones, sarà rilasciato in diversi formati: CD, digitale, doppio vinile e una deluxe edition con CD, mini-book da 75 pagine sul making of dell’album e alcune cartoline della band.
