MTV ha annunciato le nomination dei Video Music Awards del 2017. Nell’edizione di quest’anno sono state inserite alcune nuove categorie – Artist of the Year, Best Fight Against The System – e altre sono state eliminate: il miglior video, infatti, non è più sdoppiato in versione maschile e femminile, ma è diventato un premio unico e senza connotazioni di genere.
Come prevedibile, l’artista con più nomination è Kendrick Lamar, con il suo (pazzesco) video di HUMBLE. Il rapper di Compton dovrà vedersela con Katy Perry, Lorde, Dj Khaled, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran e tanti altri. La cerimonia si terrà il 27 agosto, ecco la lista completa di premi e candidati:
